No Bake Peanut Butter and Chocolate Pile Ups

I need a 12-step program. For my addiction to peanut butter and chocolate.

It all started out with my Peanut Butter Cup Cookies, which was my first recipe (way back when) on the blog. Then, things got serious with my Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Brownies. And, in case you missed it last week, my Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies.

Those are some of my favorite peanut butter and chocolate recipes, but let me tell you, these No Bake Peanut Butter and Chocolate Pile Ups have my heart. I made these with my mom and sister when I was a young girl. I remember the recipe written in my mother’s handwriting.

While I take a second to reminisce, please queue Phil Collins. Or Sting. Or WHAM!

If you are looking for a dainty, perfectly shaped, no-mess dessert, this is not for you. If you are looking for straight-up-melt-in-your-mouth-can-I-have-another, then look no further.

Holy goodness, these look incredible! I love your childhood memory tied to this recipe because I know that at some point I've had something similar to these pile-ups as well and they were amazing! Can't wait to make them!

Mmm I've been eating something similar to this for a ages - a vegan version but it uses rice krispies as the bottom layer instead of graham crackers. I'll have to give this combo a try though! xx Kathryn http://www.throughthethicket.ca
