This “New York is a verb” tee popped up in my Pinterest feed yesterday. I thought it was appropriate to share as I am in the city today working on a few design projects. I share some work space in the Flatiron District, but I only get here every once in a while when I want to focus on something and need a lot of quiet time. I love working in New York because there is an energy about the city that is unexplainable and addictive.
Although I usually would steer away from this type of look all together, I sort of love it. I do have these Paige denim ankle jeans and they are my most comfortable skinnies hands down. I spotted someone wearing shoes similar to these above on the train this morning. (Hers were black, which I think might be too athletic looking for me.) But, I love the stud detailing on these Coach slip-ons and it adds a bit more femininity.
